2 Jehovah said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother that he may not come at just any time into the holy place+ inside the curtain,+ in front of the cover on the Ark, so that he may not die,+ for I will appear over the cover+ in a cloud.+

7 You and your sons are responsible for your priestly duties pertaining to the altar and what is inside the curtain,+ and you are to render this service.+ I have given the service of the priesthood as a gift to you, and any unauthorized person* who approaches should be put to death.”+
