22 When my glory is passing by, I will place you in a crevice of the rock, and I will shield you with my hand until I have passed by. 23 After that I will take my hand away, and you will see my back. But my face may not be seen.”+

8 Face-to-face* I speak to him,+ openly, not by riddles; and the appearance of Jehovah is what he sees. Why, then, did you not fear to speak against my servant, against Moses?”

10 But there has never again arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses,+ whom Jehovah knew face-to-face.+

18 No man has seen God at any time;+ the only-begotten god+ who is at the Father’s side*+ is the one who has explained Him.+

46 Not that any man has seen the Father,+ except the one who is from God; this one has seen the Father.+

38 This is the one who came to be among the congregation in the wilderness with the angel+ who spoke to him+ on Mount Siʹnai and with our forefathers, and he received living sacred pronouncements to give us.+
