8 Aaron immediately approached the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering that was for him.+ 9 Then Aaron’s sons presented the blood+ to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and he poured the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.+

18 “He will then come out to the altar,+ which is before Jehovah, and make atonement for it, and he will take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on the horns of the altar on all sides.
