33 So Moses gave to them—to the sons of Gad, the sons of Reuʹben,+ and to the half tribe of Ma·nasʹseh+ the son of Joseph—the kingdom of Siʹhon+ the king of the Amʹor·ites and the kingdom of Og+ the king of Baʹshan, the land belonging to its cities in those territories, and the cities of the surrounding land.

12 At that time we took possession of this land: from A·roʹer,+ which is by the Arʹnon Valley,* and half of the mountainous region of Gilʹe·ad, and I have given its cities to the Reuʹben·ites and the Gadʹites.+ 13 And the rest of Gilʹe·ad and all Baʹshan of the kingdom of Og I have given to the half tribe of Ma·nasʹseh.+ All the region of Arʹgob, which belongs to Baʹshan, was known as the land of the Rephʹa·im.

8 With the other half tribe, the Reuʹben·ites and the Gadʹites took their inheritance that Moses gave them on the east side of the Jordan, just as Moses the servant of Jehovah had given them:+
