9 You are to give the Levites to Aaron and his sons. They are given ones, given to him from the Israelites.+

6 I myself have taken your brothers, the Levites, from among the Israelites as a gift for you.+ They are given to Jehovah to care for the service of the tent of meeting.+

32 They also took care of their responsibilities toward the tent of meeting, toward the holy place, and toward their brothers the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of Jehovah.

11 And they will become ministers in my sanctuary to oversee the gates of the temple+ and to minister at the temple. They will slaughter the whole burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they will stand before the people to minister to them.
