30 None of you will enter into the land that I swore* to have you reside in+ except Caʹleb the son of Je·phunʹneh and Joshua the son of Nun.+

65 For Jehovah had said concerning them: “They will die without fail in the wilderness.”+ So there was not a man left of them except Caʹleb the son of Je·phunʹneh and Joshua the son of Nun.+

11 ‘The men who came up out of Egypt from 20 years old and up will not see the land+ of which I have sworn to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,+ because they have not followed me wholeheartedly— 12 except Caʹleb+ the son of Je·phunʹneh the Kenʹiz·zite and Joshua+ the son of Nun, because they have followed Jehovah wholeheartedly.’+

35 ‘Not one of these men of this evil generation will see the good land that I swore to give to your fathers,+ 36 except Caʹleb the son of Je·phunʹneh. He will see it, and I will give the land on which he walked to him and to his sons, because he has followed Jehovah wholeheartedly.*+

6 Then the men of Judah approached Joshua in Gilʹgal,+ and Caʹleb+ the son of Je·phunʹneh the Kenʹiz·zite said to him: “You well know what Jehovah said+ to Moses the man of the true God+ about you and me at Kaʹdesh-barʹne·a.+
