2 Now Baʹlak+ the son of Zipʹpor saw all that Israel had done to the Amʹor·ites, 3 and Moʹab became very frightened of the people, because they were so many; indeed, Moʹab felt sick with fear because of the Israelites.+

9 Then Baʹlak son of Zipʹpor, the king of Moʹab, rose up and fought against Israel. So he summoned Baʹlaam the son of Beʹor to curse you.+
