3 So Jehovah listened to Israel’s voice and gave the Caʹnaan·ites over to them, and they devoted them and their cities to destruction. Therefore, they named the place Horʹmah.*+
19Then the second lot+ came out for Simʹe·on, for the tribe of Simʹe·on+ by their families. And their inheritance was within the inheritance of Judah.+
17 But Judah marched on with his brother Simʹe·on, and they attacked the Caʹnaan·ites inhabiting Zeʹphath and devoted it to destruction.+ So they named the city Horʹmah.*+
