29 At that time they struck down about 10,000 Moʹab·ites,+ all strong and valiant men; not a single one escaped.+

47 Saul secured the kingship over Israel and fought against all his enemies on every side, against the Moʹab·ites,+ the Amʹmon·ites,+ the Eʹdom·ites,+ the kings of Zoʹbah,+ and the Phi·lisʹtines;+ and wherever he went he defeated them.

 8 Moʹab is my washbasin.+

Over Eʹdom I will throw my sandal.+

Over Phi·lisʹti·a I will shout in triumph.”+
