27When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people consulted together against Jesus to put him to death.+2 After binding him, they led him off and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.+
10 However, the chief priests and the scribes kept standing up and vehemently accusing him. 11 Then Herod together with his soldiers treated him with contempt,+ and he mocked him+ by clothing him with a splendid garment and then sent him back to Pilate.
