9 Jehovah went on to say to Moses: “I have seen that this is an obstinate* people.+

43 So I spoke to you, but you did not listen. Instead, you rebelled against Jehovah’s order and presumptuously tried to go up the mountain.

27 For I myself well know your rebelliousness+ and your stubbornness.*+ If you have been so rebellious against Jehovah while I am still alive with you, then how much more so will you be after my death!

18 I said to their sons in the wilderness,+ ‘Do not walk in the regulations of your forefathers+ or keep their judgments or defile yourselves with their disgusting idols.

51 “Obstinate men and uncircumcised in hearts and ears, you are always resisting the holy spirit; as your forefathers did, so you do.+
