41 However, Eʹsau harbored animosity against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him,+ and Eʹsau kept saying in his heart: “The days of mourning for my father are getting closer.+ After that I am going to kill Jacob my brother.”

31 As long as the son of Jesʹse is alive on the earth, you and your kingship will not be firmly established.+ So now send someone to bring him to me, for he must die.”*+
