15 They kept going to Noah inside the ark, two by two, of every sort of flesh that has the breath of life.* 16 So they went in, male and female of every sort of flesh, just as God had commanded him. After that Jehovah shut the door behind him.

22 Then you must dip a bunch of hyssop into the blood that is in a basin and strike the upper part of the doorway and the two doorposts with the blood; and none of you should go out of the entrance of his house until morning. 23 Then when Jehovah passes through to plague the Egyptians and sees the blood on the upper part of the doorway and on the two doorposts, Jehovah will certainly pass over the entrance, and he will not allow the plague of death* to enter into your houses.+

10 The name of Jehovah is a strong tower.+

Into it the righteous one runs and receives protection.*+
