15 “But if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God by taking care to do all his commandments and his statutes that I am commanding you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:+

26 But they went and served other gods and bowed down to them, gods that they had not known and that he had not permitted them to worship.*+ 27 Then Jehovah’s burning anger came against that land by bringing upon it the entire curse written in this book.+

15 But just as all the good promises that Jehovah your God has spoken to you have come upon you,+ so Jehovah will bring upon you all the calamity that he promised* and will annihilate you from this good land that Jehovah your God has given you.+ 16 If you violate the covenant of Jehovah your God that he commanded you to keep and if you go and serve other gods and bow down to them, then Jehovah’s anger will blaze against you+ and you will quickly perish from the good land that he has given you.”+

27 Jehovah said: “I will also remove Judah from my sight,+ just as I removed Israel;+ and I will reject this city that I chose, Jerusalem, and the house about which I said, ‘My name will continue there.’”+
