35 Vengeance is mine, and retribution,+

At the appointed time when their foot slips,+

For the day of their disaster is near,

And what awaits them will come quickly.’

94 O God of vengeance, Jehovah,+

O God of vengeance, shine forth!

 8 For Jehovah has a day of vengeance,+

A year of retribution for the legal case over Zion.+

29 Summon archers against Babylon,

All who are bending* the bow.+

For she has acted arrogantly against Jehovah,

Against the Holy One of Israel.+
