25 Therefore, the land is unclean, and I will bring punishment on it for its error, and the land will vomit its inhabitants out.+

33 And I will scatter you among the nations,+ and I will unsheathe a sword after you;+ and your land will be made desolate,+ and your cities will be devastated.

36 Jehovah will drive you and the king whom you set up over yourself to a nation that you and your forefathers have not known,+ and there you will serve other gods, gods of wood and of stone.+

9 I am sending for all the families of the north,”+ declares Jehovah, “sending for King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar* of Babylon, my servant,+ and I will bring them against this land+ and against its inhabitants and against all these surrounding nations.+ I will devote them to destruction and make them an object of horror and something to whistle at and a perpetual ruin.
