26 I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today that you will surely and quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of. You will not last long on it, but you will be utterly annihilated.+

 2 Jehovah has swallowed up without compassion all the dwellings of Jacob.

In his fury he has torn down the fortified places of the daughter of Judah.+

He has brought down to the ground and profaned the kingdom+ and her princes.+

10 But as for me, my eye will not feel sorry; nor will I show compassion.+ The consequences of their way I will bring down on their own head.”
