29 So you will have to eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.+

53 Then you will have to eat your own children,* the flesh of your sons and your daughters+ whom Jehovah your God has given you, because of the severity of the siege and the distress your enemy inflicts on you.

9 And I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will each eat the flesh of his fellow man, because of the siege and their desperation when they are hemmed in by their enemies and those seeking to take their life.”’*+
