11 Zed·e·kiʹah+ was 21 years old when he became king, and he reigned for 11 years in Jerusalem.+

13 He also rebelled against King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar,+ who had made him take an oath by God, and he remained stubborn* and hardhearted and refused to turn to Jehovah the God of Israel.

8 “‘But concerning the bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten,+ this is what Jehovah says: “So I will regard King Zed·e·kiʹah+ of Judah, his princes, the remnant of Jerusalem who are left in this land, and those who are dwelling in the land of Egypt.+

52 Zed·e·kiʹah+ was 21 years old when he became king, and he reigned for 11 years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Ha·muʹtal+ the daughter of Jeremiah of Libʹnah. 2 He continued to do what was bad in Jehovah’s eyes, according to all that Je·hoiʹa·kim had done.+

19 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: “As surely as I am alive, I will bring upon his head the consequences of despising my oath+ and breaking my covenant.
