22 “‘You must keep all my statutes and all my judicial decisions+ and carry them out,+ so that the land where I am bringing you to dwell will not vomit you out.+

63 “And just as Jehovah once delighted to make you prosper and to multiply you, so Jehovah will delight to destroy you and to annihilate you; and you will be torn from the land you are about to possess.

64 “Jehovah will scatter you among all the nations, from the one end of the earth to the other end of the earth,+ and there you will have to serve gods of wood and of stone, which you and your forefathers have not known.+

15 But just as all the good promises that Jehovah your God has spoken to you have come upon you,+ so Jehovah will bring upon you all the calamity that he promised* and will annihilate you from this good land that Jehovah your God has given you.+ 16 If you violate the covenant of Jehovah your God that he commanded you to keep and if you go and serve other gods and bow down to them, then Jehovah’s anger will blaze against you+ and you will quickly perish from the good land that he has given you.”+

6 But if you and your sons turn away from following me and do not keep my commandments and my statutes that I have put before you, and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them,+ 7 I will cut Israel off from the surface of the land that I have given to them,+ and the house that I have sanctified for my name I will cast out of my sight,+ and Israel will become an object of scorn* and a cause for ridicule among all the peoples.+
