29 But Peter said to him: “Even if all the others are stumbled, I will not be.”+ 30 At that Jesus said to him: “Truly I say to you that today, yes, on this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you will disown me three times.”+ 31 But he kept insisting: “If I have to die with you, I will by no means disown you.” Also, all the others began to say the same thing.+
