28 When he came to the other side into the region of the Gad·a·renesʹ, two demon-possessed men coming out from among the tombs* met him.+ They were unusually fierce, so nobody had the courage to pass by on that road.

26 And they put in to shore in the region of the Gerʹa·senes,+ which is on the side opposite Galʹi·lee. 27 As Jesus got out onto land, a demon-possessed man from the city met him. For a considerable time he had not worn clothing, and he was staying, not in a house, but among the tombs.*+
