16 These things his disciples did not understand at first, but when Jesus was glorified,+ they recalled that these things were written about him and that they did these things to him.+

31 When, therefore, he had gone out, Jesus said: “Now the Son of man is glorified,+ and God is glorified in connection with him. 32 God himself will glorify him,+ and he will glorify him immediately.

16 Indeed, the sacred secret of this godly devotion is admittedly great: ‘He was made manifest in flesh,+ was declared righteous in spirit,+ appeared to angels,+ was preached about among nations,+ was believed upon in the world,+ was received up in glory.’
