17 Jehovah now sent a huge fish to swallow Joʹnah, so that Joʹnah came to be in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.+

10 In time Jehovah commanded the fish, and it vomited Joʹnah out onto the dry land.

23 This man, who was handed over by the determined will* and foreknowledge of God,+ you fastened to a stake by the hand of lawless men, and you did away with him.+ 24 But God resurrected him+ by releasing him from the pangs* of death, because it was not possible for him to be held fast by it.+
