12 Finally Samuel said to all Israel: “Here I have done* all that you asked of me, and I appointed a king to reign over you.+

3 Here I am. Testify against me before Jehovah and before his anointed one:+ Whose bull or whose donkey have I taken?+ Or whom have I defrauded or crushed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe* to make me look the other way?+ If I have, I will restore it to you.”+

8 Cure the sick,+ raise up the dead, make lepers clean, expel demons. You received free, give free.

11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material support from you?+ 12 If other men have this rightful claim over you, do we not have it much more so? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right,*+ but we are enduring all things so that we might not in any way hinder the good news about the Christ.+

2 Make room for us in your hearts.+ We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have taken advantage of no one.+
