5 made us alive together with the Christ, even when we were dead in trespasses+—by undeserved kindness you have been saved.

8 By this undeserved kindness you have been saved through faith,+ and this is not of your own doing; rather, it is God’s gift.

5 (not because of any righteous works we had done,+ but because of his own mercy),+ he saved us by means of the bath that brought us to life+ and by making us new by holy spirit.+
