37 In the 4th year, in the month of Ziv,* the house of Jehovah had its foundation laid;+ 38 and in the 11th year, in the month of Bul* (that is, the eighth month), the house was finished in all its details and according to its plan.+ So he spent seven years building it.

7 And it took Solʹo·mon 13 years to build his own house,*+ until his whole house was completed.+

8 At the end of 20 years, during which Solʹo·mon built the house of Jehovah and his own house,*+ 2 Solʹo·mon rebuilt the cities that Hiʹram+ had given Solʹo·mon and settled Israelites* there.
