11 Aʹsa did what was right in the eyes of Jehovah,+ like David his forefather. 12 He expelled the male temple prostitutes from the land+ and removed all the disgusting idols* that his forefathers had made.+

46 He also cleared out of the land the rest of the male temple prostitutes+ who had been left over in the days of Aʹsa his father.+

7 He also tore down the houses of the male temple prostitutes,+ which were in the house of Jehovah and where the women were weaving tent shrines for the sacred pole.*
