6 Now when A·biʹa·thar+ the son of A·himʹe·lech ran away to David at Keiʹlah, he had an ephʹod with him.

24 Zaʹdok+ was also there and with him were all the Levites+ carrying the ark+ of the covenant of the true God;+ and they set the Ark of the true God down; and A·biʹa·thar+ went up, while all the people completed crossing over from the city.

11 Furthermore, David called the priests Zaʹdok+ and A·biʹa·thar+ and the Levites U·riʹel, A·saiʹah, Joel, She·maiʹah, Eʹli·el, and Am·minʹa·dab, 12 and he said to them: “You are the heads of the paternal houses of the Levites.
