41 Je·hoshʹa·phat+ the son of Aʹsa had become king over Judah in the fourth year of King Aʹhab of Israel.

43 He kept walking in all the way of Aʹsa+ his father. He did not deviate from it, and he did what was right in Jehovah’s eyes.+ However, the high places were not removed, and the people were still sacrificing and making sacrificial smoke on the high places.+
