25 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Je·hoiʹa·kim+ son of Jo·siʹah, the king of Judah, which was the first year of King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar* of Babylon.

2 For Egypt,+ concerning the army of Pharʹaoh Neʹcho+ the king of Egypt, who was along the Eu·phraʹtes River and was defeated at Carʹche·mish by King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar* of Babylon in the fourth year of Je·hoiʹa·kim+ son of Jo·siʹah, the king of Judah:

1 In the third year of the kingship of King Je·hoiʹa·kim+ of Judah, King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.+

3 Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar the king made an image* of gold that was 60 cubits* high and 6 cubits* wide. He set it up on the plain of Duʹra in the province* of Babylon.
