2 “This is what Jehovah the God of Israel says, ‘Go and speak to King Zed·e·kiʹah+ of Judah and tell him: “This is what Jehovah says, ‘Here I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.+
24The word of Jehovah again came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, saying: 2 “Son of man, record this date,* this very day. The king of Babylon has begun his attack against Jerusalem on this very day.+
