13 Then Aʹsa was laid to rest with his forefathers;+ he died in the 41st year of his reign. 14 So they buried him in the grand burial place that he had excavated for himself in the City of David,+ and they laid him on a bier that had been filled with balsam oil and different sorts of ingredients mixed into a specially made ointment.+ Further, they made an extraordinarily great funeral burning for him.*

4 However, hear the word of Jehovah, O King Zed·e·kiʹah of Judah, ‘This is what Jehovah says concerning you: “You will not die by the sword. 5 In peace you will die,+ and they will make a burning ceremony for you as they did for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, and they will mourn you, ‘Alas, O master!’ for ‘I have spoken the word,’ declares Jehovah.”’”’”
