6 They kept crying out to Jehovah in their distress;+

He rescued them from their plight.+

 7 He had them walk in the right way+

To come to a city where they could live.+

16 And there will be a highway+ out of As·syrʹi·a for the remnant of his people who are left,+

As there was for Israel in the day he came out of the land of Egypt.

 4 Let every valley be raised up,

And every mountain and hill be made low.

The rough ground must become level,

And the rugged ground a valley plain.+
