26 After that all the people, from small to great, including the army chiefs, rose up and went to Egypt,+ for they were afraid of the Chal·deʹans.+

14 by saying, “No, we will go instead to the land of Egypt,+ where we will not see war or hear the sound of the horn or hunger for bread; there is where we will live,”

7 And they went into the land of Egypt, for they did not obey the voice of Jehovah, and they went as far as Tahʹpan·hes.+
