14 Jehovah then said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name.+ I have not sent them or commanded them or spoken to them.+ A lying vision and a worthless divination and the deceit of their own heart is what they are prophesying to you.+

15 Jeremiah the prophet then said to Han·a·niʹah+ the prophet: “Listen, please, O Han·a·niʹah! Jehovah has not sent you, but you have caused this people to trust in a lie.+

21 This is what Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel, says concerning Aʹhab the son of Ko·laiʹah and concerning Zed·e·kiʹah the son of Ma·a·seiʹah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name,+ ‘Here I am giving them into the hand of King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar* of Babylon, and he will strike them down before your eyes.
