22 Jo·siʹah+ was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned for 31 years in Jerusalem.+ His mother’s name was Je·diʹdah the daughter of A·daiʹah from Bozʹkath.+ 2 He did what was right in Jehovah’s eyes and walked in all the ways of David his forefather,+ and he did not deviate to the right or to the left.

23 But in the 18th year of King Jo·siʹah, this Passover to Jehovah was held in Jerusalem.

25 There was no king like him prior to him, who returned to Jehovah with all his heart and with all his soul*+ and with all his strength, according to all the Law of Moses; nor did anyone like him rise up after him.
