16 For with fire Jehovah will execute judgment,

Yes, with his sword, against all flesh;*

And the slain of Jehovah will be many.

12 On all the worn paths through the wilderness the destroyers have come,

For the sword of Jehovah is devouring from one end of the land to the other end.+

 4 If they go into captivity before their enemies,

From there I will command the sword, and it will kill them;+

I will fix my eyes on them for bad, and not for good.+
