2. Yini lemangalisako leyenteka ngeliPhentekhoste langa-33 C.E.?

“Bonkhe Bafundzi Bebahlangene Endzaweni Yinye” (Imisebenti 2:1-4)

4. Sisho ngani kutsi libandla lebuKhristu lelikhona lamuhla solo nguleli lelacaliswa nga-33 C.E.?

5. Ngutiphi tibusiso lebetitawutfolwa ngulabo lebebatihlanganisa nelibandla lebuKhristu langelikhulu lekucala kanye nalabatihlanganisa nelibandla lebuKhristu lalamuhla?

5 Libandla lebuKhristu belitawucinisa kukholwa kwemalunga alo lagcotjiwe bese ngekuhamba kwesikhatsi licinisa kukholwa ‘kwaletinye timvu.’ (Joh. 10:16) Pawula wakhombisa kubonga ngekusekelana kwemalunga elibandla ngesikhatsi abhalela emaKhristu aseRoma nakatsi: “Nginesifiso lesikhulu sekunibona kuze ngininike sipho lesivela kuNkulunkulu khona nitocina; ngalamanye emagama ngisho kutsi sikhutsatane, nine ningikhutsate ngekukholwa kwenu nami nginikhutsate ngekukholwa kwami.”​—Rom. 1:11, 12.

IROMA—INHLOKODOLOBHA YEMBUSO WEMHLABA WONKHE

Tintfo lokukhulunywa ngato encwadzini yeMisebenti, tenteka ngesikhatsi iRoma ilidolobha lelikhulu futsi lelibalulekile kutepolitiki ngaleso sikhatsi emhlabeni. Beyiyinhlokodolobha yembuso wemhlaba wonkhe lowake wabusa kusukela eBrithani kuya eNyakatfo ye-Afrika nekusuka eLwandle i-Atlantic kuya e-Persian Gulf.

IRoma beyilidolobha lapho bekuhlangana khona bantfu bemasiko, buhlanga, tilwimi kanye netinkholelo letehlukahlukene. Beyinemigwaco leminyenti lenakekelwa kahle lebeyiletsa bantfu nebatsengisi lebebavela etindzaweni letehlukahlukene letingephansi kwalombuso. Sikhumulo semikhumbi lesise-Ostia, lesidvutane neRoma, besiphitsitela imikhumbi lebeyiletsa kudla kanye naletinye tintfo letinhle lebetita kulelidolobha.

Ngelikhulu lekucala leminyaka C.E., eRoma bekuhlala bantfu labangetulu kwesigidzi. Kungenteka ihhafu yalabantfu bekutigcili lebetifaka ekhatsi tigebengu letigwetjwe intsambo, bantfwana labatsengisiwe nobe labalahlwe batali kanye netiboshwa letitfunjwe ngemasotja aseRoma. Ngemuva kwekutsi iJerusalema incotjwe libutfo lemaRoma lebeliholwa ngu-Jenene Pompey nga-63 B.C.E., kwatfunjwa emaJuda futsi amikiswa eRoma kuze ayoba tigcili.

Linyenti lebantfu lebelingasito tigcili beliphuyile, lihlala ngekuminyetelana etindlini letititezi futsi liphila ngelusito loluvela kuhulumende. Nobe kunjalo, babusi baseRoma bebalakhe kahle lelidolobha futsi linetakhiwo letinhle kakhulu lebetingakavami. Letinye taletakhiwo bekungema-theater, tinkhundla letinkhulu labekubukelwa khona imidlalo yasesiteji, imicudzelwano yekulwa kanye nemijaho yemahhashi. Konkhe loku bekutintfo tekutijabulisa tamahhala tebantfu baseRoma.

6, 7. Libandla lebuKhristu lamuhla likhombisa njani kutsi liyawulalela umyalo waJesu wekushumayela bantfu bato tonkhe tive?

6 Libandla lebuKhristu lamuhla linemigomo lefanako naleyo yelibandla langelikhulu lekucala. Jesu waniketa bafundzi bakhe umsebenti lomatima kodvwa lojabulisako. Watsi kubo: Yentani “bantfu bato tonkhe tive babe bafundzi bami, nibabhabhatise egameni laBabe, neleNdvodzana, nelemoya longcwele nibafundzise kugcina konkhe lenginitjele kona.”​—Mat. 28:19, 20.

7 Libandla lebuKhristu laBoFakazi BaJehova ngilo lelenta lomsebenti wekushumayela lamuhla. Kuliciniso kutsi kumatima kushumayela bantfu labakhuluma tilwimi letehlukahlukene. Nobe kunjalo, BoFakazi BaJehova bakhicite tincwadzi letisekelwe eBhayibhelini ngetilwimi letingetulu kwa-1 000. Nangabe ubakhona njalo emihlanganweni yebuKhristu futsi uhlanganyela emsebentini wekushumayela ngeMbuso newekwenta bafundzi, unesizatfu sekujabula. Uyincenye yebantfu labambalwa emhlabeni lamuhla labanelilungelo lekufakaza ngalokuphelele ngeligama laJehova!

8. Nguluphi lusito lesilutfola ebandleni lebuKhristu?

8 Kuze asisite sibeketelele letikhatsi letimatima ngenjabulo, Jehova Nkulunkulu usinikete bazalwane labasemhlabeni wonkhe. Pawula wabhalela emaKhristu langemaHebheru watsi: “Asinakaneni kuze sikhutsatane elutsandvweni nasemisebentini lemihle, singakuyekeli kuhlangana kwetfu ndzawonye njengobe labanye sebanemkhuba wekungahlangani, kodvwa asikhutsatane ikakhulukati njengobe nibona lilanga lisondzela.” (Heb. 10:24, 25) Libandla lebuKhristu lisipho Jehova lakulungiselele sona kuze ukhutsate labanye futsi nawe ukhutsateke. Hlala usondzelene nebazalwane bakho nabodzadze futsi ungakuyekeli kuya emihlanganweni yebuKhristu!

“Nguloyo Naloyo . . . Bekeva . . . Ngelulwimi Lwakhe” (Imisebenti 2:5-13)

Bafundzi baJesu bashumayela emaJuda kanye nebantfu labagucukele enkholweni yebuJuda emigwacweni lephitsitelako.

“Sonkhe sibeva bakhuluma ngemisebenti lemangalisako yaNkulunkulu ngetilwimi takitsi.”​—Imisebenti 2:11

9, 10. Yini labanye labayentile kuze bakhone kushumayela bantfu labakhuluma lolunye lulwimi?

9 Cabanga ngendlela lebekajabule ngayo emaJuda kanye nebantfu betive lebebaphendvukele enkholweni yebuJuda ngeliPhentekhoste langa-33 C.E. Kungenteka labanyenti lebebakhona lapho bebakhuluma lulwimi lebeluvamile, lokusiGriki nobe siHebheru, kodvwa nyalo ‘nguloyo naloyo kubo besekeva labafundzi bakhuluma ngelulwimi lwakhe.’ (Imis. 2:6) Siyaciniseka kutsi kwatitsintsa tinhlitiyo talabo bebalalele kuva tindzaba letimnandzi ngelulwimi labalumunya. Nobe kunjalo, labanyenti batinikele kuze basakate umlayeto weMbuso kubantfu bato tonkhe tive. Kanjani? Labanye bafundze lulwimi lolusha kuze basite ebandleni lelikhuluma lololwimi nobe batfutsela kulamanye emave. Esikhatsini lesinyenti, batfole kutsi labo lababashumayela ngelulwimi labalufundzile, batsintseka tinhlitiyo ngenca yemetamo yabo.

10 Cabanga ngaChristine, lowafundza lulwimi lwesi-Gujarati akanye nalabanye boFakazi labangu-7. Watsi nakahlangana nalomunye wesifazane losemusha lasebenta naye lobekakhuluma si-Gujarati wambingelela ngaso. Lowesifazane watsintseka kakhulu futsi wafuna kwati kutsi yini lebeyenta Christine atihluphe kangaka kuze afundze lolulwimi lolulukhuni. Loko kwavulela Christine litfuba lelihle lekushumayela. INKHOLO YEBUKHRISTU EPHONTUSI

Emkhatsini walabo labeva inkhulumo yaPhetro ngeliPhentekhoste langa-33 C.E. bekunemaJuda lavela ePhontusi, lokusifundza lesisenyakatfo ye-Asiya. BEKUBOBANI LABA LABAGUCUKELA ENKHOLWENI YEBUJUDA?

“EmaJuda nalabo labagucukela enkholweni yebuJuda” balalela ngesikhatsi Phetro ashumayela ngeliPhentekhoste langa-33 C.E.​—Imis. 2:10.

16 Jehova walibusisa lelicembu. 17 Kunetinyatselo letimbalwa letibalulekile futsi letisekelwe emiBhalweni umKhristu lokufanele atitsatse kuze atinikele futsi abhajatiswe. Kufanele afundze liVi laNkulunkulu. (Joh. 17:3) Kufanele akholwe futsi aphendvuke endleleni yakhe yangaphambili, akhombise kutsi uva buhlungu futsi uyatisola ngayo. (Imis. 3:19) Ngemuva kwaloko kufanele agucuke, futsi acale kwenta tintfo letinhle letivumelana nentsandvo yaNkulunkulu. (Rom. 12:2; Ef. 4:23, 24) Ngemuva kwekutsatsa letinyatselo, kufanele atinikele kuNkulunkulu ngemthantazo, bese uyabhajatiswa.​—Mat. 16:24; 1 Phet. 3:21.

18 Ungumfundzi waJesu Khristu lotinikele yini waphindze wabhajatiswa? Nakunjalo, kufanele ubonge ngalelilungelo loniketwe lona. Njengebafundzi bangelikhulu lekucala lebebagcotjwe ngemoya longcwele, nawe ungasetjentiswa ngendlela lemangalisako kuze ufakaze ngalokuphelele futsi wente intsandvo yaJehova!
