14 And the elders of the Jews continued building and making progress,+ urged on by the prophesying of Hagʹgai+ the prophet and Zech·a·riʹah+ the grandson of Idʹdo; they finished building it by the order of the God of Israel+ and by the order of Cyrus+ and Da·riʹus+ and King Ar·ta·xerxʹes+ of Persia.

4 “‘But now be strong, Ze·rubʹba·bel,’ declares Jehovah, ‘and be strong, Joshua son of Je·hozʹa·dak, the high priest.’

“‘And be strong, all you people of the land,’+ declares Jehovah, ‘and work.’

“‘For I am with you,’+ declares Jehovah of armies.

21 “Say to Ze·rubʹba·bel, the governor of Judah, ‘I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.+

7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Ze·rubʹba·bel+ you will become a level land.*+ And he will bring out the top stone* amid shouts of: “How wonderful! How wonderful!”’”
