28 There is the sound of those fleeing,

Those escaping from the land of Babylon,

To declare in Zion the vengeance of Jehovah our God,

The vengeance for his temple.+

24 And I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chal·deʹa

For all the evil that they have committed in Zion before your eyes,”+ declares Jehovah.
