7 Jehovah then appeared to Aʹbram and said: “To your offspring*+ I am going to give this land.”+ So he built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him.

18 And Mel·chizʹe·dek+ king of Saʹlem+ brought out bread and wine; he was priest of the Most High God.+

19 Then he blessed him and said:

And Aʹbram gave him a tenth of everything.+

6 I will make you very, very fruitful and will make you become nations, and kings will come from you.+

17 I will surely bless you and I will surely multiply your offspring* like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand on the seashore,+ and your offspring* will take possession of the gate* of his enemies.+
