Deuteronomy
34 Then Moses comot from the level lands wey dey the desert of Mo′ab and go up to Mount Ne′bo, to the top part of Pis′gah wey face Jer′i·cho. And Jehovah show-am all the land, from Gil′e·ad to Dan, 2 and all the land of Naph′ta·li and the land of E′phra·im and Ma·nas′seh, and all the land of Judah go reach the sea* for west, 3 and the Neg′eb and the Jordan area,* and the level land* of Jer′i·cho, the city wey get palm trees, go reach Zo′ar.
4 Then Jehovah tell-am say: “This one na the land wey I don swear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob about say, ‘I go give-am to your children.’* I don allow you see-am with your own eyes, but you no go cross go there.”
5 After that one, Moses wey be the servant of Jehovah die for there for the land of Mo′ab just as Jehovah don talk-am. 6 E bury-am for the lowland wey dey the land of Mo′ab, opposite Beth-pe′or, and nobody know where im grave dey till today. 7 Moses dey 120 years when e die. Im eyes never weak and im power never leave-am. 8 Israel people cry for Moses for 30 days for the level lands wey dey the desert of Mo′ab. Then the days wey them cry and mourn for Moses complete.
9 The sense wey the spirit of God de give full the body of Joshua the son of Nun, because Moses be don put im hand ontop-am; and Israel people start to listen to-am, and them do just as Jehovah don command Moses. 10 But no prophet don ever dey again for Israel like Moses, wey Jehovah know face-to-face. 11 E do all the signs and the miracles wey Jehovah send-am make e do for the land of Egypt for front of Phar′aoh and all im servants and for all im land, 12 together with the strong hand and the wonderful power wey Moses show for front of all Israel.
