Philippians

3 So my brothers, make una continue to de happy as people wey de follow the Lord. No be problem for me to write the same things to una, because this one na to protect una.

2 Dey careful about people wey be like dogs.* Dey careful about people wey de cause wound for people. Dey careful about people wey de cut the flesh.* 3 Na we them circumcise for the correct way, we wey the spirit of God de help to do holy work and wey de boast about Christ Jesus, and we wey no de trust wetin we be.* 4 But out of everybody, I get reasons to trust wetin I be.*

If any other person think say e get reasons to trust wetin e be,* I get more reasons: 5 them circumcise me for the eighth day; I come from the nation of Israel, from the tribe of Benjamin; I be Hebrew and my papa and mama na Hebrew; if na law, I follow-am well as Pharisee; 6 if na to use my whole heart do something, I use-am suffer the congregation; if na to do the correct things as law talk, I show say I dey clean. 7 But the things wey I de see as gain before, I de see-am as nothing now* because of the Christ. 8 True-true, I de see everything as nothing because the things wey I learn about Christ Jesus my Lord really get high value. I don troway everything and I de see them as plenty dirty because of Christ, so that I go fit gain-am 9 and make people see say I dey as one with-am. No be the Law wey I de follow make me dey righteous, but na because I get faith for Christ. Na God de see us as righteous people because of our faith. 10 The thing wey I want na to know Christ and the power of im resurrection and to suffer like-am. I even dey ready to die the kind die wey e die, 11 to see whether e go dey possible for me to be part of the people wey go come back to life first* among people wey don die.

12 No be say I don already receive-am or say everything don already complete for me, but I de try my best to see whether I go fit still get that thing wey Christ Jesus don choose me for.* 13 My brothers, I no de see myself like say I don already get-am. But one thing dey sure: I de forget the things wey I don leave for back and I de try to get the things wey dey for front. 14 I de try my best to reach the target wey be to get the prize for heaven wey God go give people wey e use Christ Jesus call. 15 So make all of us wey mature de think like this, and if una de think for another way, God go show una the correct way to think. 16 But no matter the level wey we don grow reach, make we continue to follow this same way.

17 My brothers, make all of una de follow my example, and continue to look the people wey de follow the example wey we don show una. 18 Many people dey wey their life de show say them be enemies of the torture pole* wey Christ die ontop. Before, I de always talk about them, but now, I de cry as I de talk about them. 19 Them go destroy them finally. Their god na their belle, the things wey them de boast about suppose de make them shame, and na things for this earth them put their mind. 20 But our place na heaven,* and we de really wait for the person from there wey go save us wey be the Lord Jesus Christ. 21 E go change our body wey be nothing to be like* im body wey dey wonderful. E go use im great power do this one, the same power wey de make-am fit put everything under imself.
