The Second Book of Chronicles
30 Hez·e·ki′ah send message go everywhere for Israel and Judah and e even write letters to the tribe of E′phra·im and Ma·nas′seh, say make them come the house of Jehovah for Jerusalem to do the Passover to Jehovah the God of Israel. 2 But, the king, the people wey e choose as leaders and all the people for Jerusalem decide say them go do the Passover for the second month, 3 because them never fit do-am for the normal time wey them suppose do-am, and this na because the priests wey don make theirself clean no plenty reach and the people never gather for Jerusalem. 4 This arrangement just good for the king eyes and the eyes of all the people. 5 So them decide say make them announce-am for the whole Israel, from Be′er-she′ba go reach Dan, say make the people come and do the Passover to Jehovah the God of Israel for Jerusalem, because them never do-am together as group the way them write-am say make them do-am.
6 Then the messengers* carry the letters from the king and the people wey e choose as leaders. Them go round the whole of Israel and Judah as the king don command them, and them de talk say: “Israel people, make una come back to Jehovah the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so that e go come back to the people wey remain, wey escape from the hand of the kings of As·syr′i·a. 7 Make una no be like una papa-papa them and una brothers wey no obey Jehovah the God of their papa-papa them, so e make them to be people wey their bad condition de make people fear, just as una de see so. 8 Now make una no stubborn like una papa-papa them, make una put unaself under Jehovah and come im holy place wey e don make holy forever, and serve Jehovah una God so that e go stop to vex for una. 9 Because when una come back to Jehovah, the people wey carry una brothers and una sons as slaves go show them mercy and go allow them come back to this land because Jehovah una God de feel for person* and e de show mercy, and e no go turn im face comot from where una dey if una come back to-am.”
10 So the messengers* move from city to city for the whole land of E′phra·im and Ma·nas′seh, them even reach Zeb′u·lun, but the people de laugh them and de use them do yeye. 11 But some people wey come from the tribe of Ash′er, Ma·nas′seh, and Zeb′u·lun bring body down and come Jerusalem. 12 The hand of the true God be dey Judah too, to give them one mind* so that them go do wetin the king and the leaders command them according to wetin Jehovah talk.
13 Plenty-plenty people gather together for Jerusalem to do the Festival of Bread Wey No Get Yeast for the second month; the people plenty no be small. 14 Them stand up and comot the altars wey dey for Jerusalem, and them comot all the incense altars and throw them put for the Lowland* of Kid′ron. 15 Then, them kill the animals for the Passover sacrifice for the 14th day of the second month. Shame catch the priests and the Levites so them make theirself clean and bring the offerings wey them de burn come the house of Jehovah. 16 Them stand for the place wey them de normally dey according to wetin the Law of Moses the man of the true God talk; then the priests sprinkle the blood wey them collect from Levites hand. 17 Among the people wey gather, e get plenty people wey never make theirself clean, and the Levites de kill the animals for the Passover sacrifice for all the people wey no clean so that them go make them clean for Jehovah. 18 Because plenty of the people especially the people wey come from the tribe of E′phra·im, Ma·nas′seh, Is′sa·char, and Zeb′u·lun, never make theirself clean, but them still chop the Passover, even though say this one no agree with wetin them write. But Hez·e·ki′ah pray for them, e talk say: “Make Jehovah wey dey good forgive 19 everybody wey ready for im heart to look for the true God Jehovah, the God of im papa-papa them, even though say this person never make imself clean according to how e suppose be for this holy celebration.” 20 Jehovah listen to Hez·e·ki′ah and forgive* the people.
21 So Israel people wey dey Jerusalem do the Festival of Bread Wey No Get Yeast for seven days and them de happy no be small, and the Levites and the priests de praise Jehovah everyday, de play their instruments loud to Jehovah. 22 Apart from that one, Hez·e·ki′ah talk to all the Levites wey serve Jehovah for way wey show say them get sense and e encourage them,* and them chop for the whole time wey them do the festival for seven days, de do peace sacrifice them and de thank Jehovah the God of their papa-papa them.
23 Then all the people wey gather decide say them go do-am for another seven days, so them do-am for another seven days and them de happy. 24 And Hez·e·ki′ah wey be king of Judah contribute 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep give the people wey gather, and the leaders contribute 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep give the people wey gather; and plenty-plenty priests de make theirself clean. 25 And all Judah people wey gather, the priests, the Levites, all the people wey come from Israel and the strangers wey come from the land of Israel and the people wey de live for Judah continue to happy. 26 And the people de happy well-well for Jerusalem, because from the time of Sol′o·mon the son of David wey be the king of Israel, this kind thing never happen for Jerusalem. 27 At last, the priests wey be Levites stand up and bless the people, and God hear their voice, and their prayer reach im holy place wey e dey stay, wey be, the heavens.
