33 Jehovah still tell Moses say: “Continue to go where you de go from here with the people wey you lead come out from the land of Egypt. Travel go the land wey I swear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob say, ‘I go give-am to your children.’* 2 I go send one angel to dey your front and drive Ca′naan people, Am′or·ite people, Hitʹtite people, Per′iz·zite people, Hi′vite people, and Je′bus people comot. 3 Go up to the land wey milk and honey de flow for inside. But I no go go with una, because una be stubborn people,* and I fit destroy una finish for road.”

4 When the people hear this strong message, them start to really feel sad, and nobody wear the things wey de make them fine. 5 Jehovah tell Moses say: “Tell Israel people say, ‘Una be stubborn people.* Now-now, I fit just come meet una and destroy una finish. So now, make una no wear the things wey una de wear to make unaself fine, then I go decide wetin I go do to una.’” 6 So starting from Mount Hor′eb, Israel people no wear* the things wey de make them fine.

7 Now Moses take im tent and put-am outside the camp, e no too far from the camp, and e call-am tent of meeting. Everybody wey want know wetin Jehovah talk go go the tent of meeting, wey dey outside the camp. 8 As Moses just go outside where the tent dey, all the people go get up and stand for the domot of their own tent, and them go de look Moses until e enter inside the tent. 9 Anytime wey Moses just enter inside the tent, the pillar of cloud go come down and stand for the domot of the tent, then God go talk with Moses. 10 When all the people see the pillar of cloud stand for the domot of the tent, each person get up and bow down for the domot of im own tent. 11 Jehovah talk to Moses face-to-face, just as one man go talk to another man. When e go back to the camp, Joshua the son of Nun, wey be im servant wey de help-am, no go comot from the tent.

12 Now Moses tell Jehovah say: “See, you de tell me say, ‘Lead this people de go,’ but you no let me know who you go send make e go with me. Ontop that one, you don talk say, ‘I know you by name,* and I go still show you favor.’ 13 Abeg, if you want show me favor, make you make me know your ways, so that I fit know you and continue to get favor from you. Make you still remember say this nation na your people.” 14 So e talk say: “Na me* go go with you, and I go give you peace.”* 15 Then Moses tell-am say: “If you* no de go with us, make you no lead us comot from here. 16 How people go know say you don show me and your people favor? No be when you go with us, so that me and your people go dey different from all other people for the earth?”

17 Jehovah continue to talk to Moses say: “I go still do this thing wey you ask for, because I go show you favor and I know you by name.” 18 Then e talk say: “Abeg show me your glory.” 19 But e talk say: “I go pass your front and make you know how I really good reach, and I go announce the name of Jehovah to you. I go favor the person wey I want favor, and I go show mercy to the person wey I want show mercy to.” 20 But e still talk say: “You no go fit see my face, because nobody fit see me and still dey alive.”

21 Jehovah still talk say: “See one place wey near me. Make you stay ontop the rock. 22 When I de pass and show you my glory, I go put you for one place wey open for the rock, and I go cover you with my hand until I don pass. 23 After that one, I go comot my hand and you go see my back. But you no go fit see my face.”
