13 Then A′bram comot* from Egypt to Neg′eb, e go with im wife and everything wey e get, together with Lot. 2 A′bram get plenty-plenty animals, silver, and gold. 3 E stay for different-different place as e de travel from Neg′eb to Beth′el, until e reach the place where im tent be dey between Beth′el and A′i. 4 Na this place e build altar before. A′bram call the name of Jehovah for there.

5 Now Lot, wey be de travel with A′bram still get sheep, cows, and tents. 6 So all of them no fit stay for the same place for the land. Their property don plenty sotey them no fit live together again. 7 Because of that one, the people wey de care for A′bram animals and the people wey de care for Lot animals start to quarrel. (That time, na Ca′naan people and Per′iz·zite people de live for the land.) 8 So A′bram tell Lot say: “Abeg, make quarrel no dey between me and you, and between the men wey de care for my animals and the men wey de care for your animals, because we be brothers. 9 You fit take any part of the land, no be so? Abeg, make we separate from each other. If you go left, then I go go right. But if you go right, then I go go left.” 10 So Lot raise im head and see all the area of the Jordan go reach Zo′ar. E see say the area really get water like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt (before Jehovah destroy Sod′om and Go·mor′rah). 11 Then Lot choose all the area of the Jordan and Lot pack go the east side. So them separate from each other. 12 A′bram live for the land of Ca′naan, but Lot live around the cities for the Jordan area. At last, e put im tent near Sod′om. 13 Now the people for Sod′om dey wicked. Them de put hand for serious sins against Jehovah.

14 After Lot don separate from A′bram, Jehovah tell A′bram say: “Look far, abeg, and from the place wey you dey, look the north side and the south side, the east side and the west side, 15 because all this land wey you see, I go give-am to you and your children* as una own forever. 16 And I go make your children* plenty like sand for ground, so that just as person no go fit count the sand for ground, na so them no go fit count your children.* 17 Now go, and waka round and check the land, because na you I go give-am to.” 18 So, A′bram continue to live for tents. After, e come de live for where the big trees of Mam′re dey, wey dey for Heb′ron, and e build altar for there for Jehovah.
