13 “If prophet or person wey de use dreams talk wetin go happen come out among una and e give you sign or talk wonderful thing wey go happen for future, 2 and the sign or the wonderful thing wey e tell you happen as e talk-am and e de talk say, ‘Make we follow other gods,’ gods wey you no know, ‘and make we serve them,’ 3 make you no listen to the things wey that prophet or that person wey de dream de talk, because Jehovah una God de test una to know whether una love Jehovah una God with all una heart and all una soul.* 4 Na Jehovah una God una go follow, na im una go fear, na im commandments una go obey, na im voice una go listen to; na im be the person wey una go serve, and na im una go hold strong. 5 But you must kill that prophet or that person wey de dream, because e encourage you to turn against Jehovah una God wey bring una come out from the land of Egypt and wey buy you back from the place wey you be dey as slave. E do this one to make you stop to follow the road wey Jehovah your God don command you to follow. And una must remove wicked thing from among una.

6 “If your brother, wey be the son of your mama, or your son, or your daughter, or your wife wey you really love, or your friend wey dey close to you pass,* try to deceive you for secret and talk say, ‘Make we go serve other gods,’ gods wey you or your papa-papa them no know, 7 from the gods of the people wey dey around una, whether the ones wey near you or the ones wey dey far from you, from one end of the land go reach the other end of the land, 8 make you no ever gree for-am or listen to-am and no show-am pity or get strong feeling to help-am or protect-am; 9 instead, make you no fail to kill-am. Make you be the first to stone-am to kill-am, and all the people go stone-am after. 10 And you must stone-am till e die, because e don try to make you reject Jehovah your God wey bring you come out from the land of Egypt, from the place wey you be dey as slave. 11 Then the whole Israel go hear and fear, and them no go ever do any bad thing like this again among una.

12 “If you hear-am when them talk for one of your cities wey Jehovah your God de give you to stay say, 13 ‘Useless men don come out from among una to deceive the people wey de live for their city say: “Make we go serve other gods,” gods wey una no know,’ 14 make you check the matter well, make you really find out and ask questions well; and if them confirm say na true say them do this serious bad thing among una, 15 make you no fail to use sword kill the people wey de live for that city. Destroy-am and everything wey dey inside, even the animals, use sword kill them. 16 Then make you carry all the better-better things go the center of the public place wey dey the city and burn the city with fire, and the better-better things go be complete offering to Jehovah your God. The city go continue to be heap of stones. Make them no ever build-am again. 17 Make you no take anything wey them keep separate to destroy,* so that Jehovah fit stop to vex and show you mercy and pity and make you plenty, just as e don swear to your papa-papa them. 18 You must obey* Jehovah your God and follow all im commandments wey I de command you today. This one go show say you de do wetin correct for the eyes of Jehovah your God.
