This ones go be the lands wey grass dey for animals for their cities.

6 “The cities wey una go give the Levites go be 6 cities of protection, una go give this cities so that the person wey kill another person go fit run go there, together with 42 other cities. 7 The total number of cities wey una go give the Levites na 48 cities, together with their lands wey grass dey for animals. 8 The cities wey una go give them go be from the property of Israel people. From big group una go take plenty, and from small group una go take small. Each group go give some of im cities to the Levites according to the share wey e receive.”

9 Jehovah continue to talk to Moses say: 10 “Talk to Israel people and tell them say, ‘Una de cross the Jordan to the land of Ca′naan. 11 Make una choose for unaself cities wey dey easy to reach, wey go be cities of protection, where the person wey kill person* by mistake go run go. 12 This cities go be protection for una from the person wey get the right to pay back,* so that the killer no go die until them judge-am for front of the people. 13 The six cities of protection wey una go give, go be for this reason. 14 Una go give three cities for this side of River Jordan, and three cities for the land of Ca′naan wey go be cities of protection. 15 This six cities go be protection for Israel people, for the stranger wey de live with una, and for the person wey de stay among una, for anybody wey run go there wey kill person* by mistake.

16 “‘But if e hit-am with iron and e die, e be killer. Make una no fail to kill the killer. 17 And if e hit-am with stone wey fit make-am die, and e come die, e be killer. Make una no fail to kill the killer. 18 And if e hit-am with wood wey fit make-am die and e die, e be killer. Make una no fail to kill the killer.

19 “‘The person wey get the right to pay back* na the person wey go kill the killer. Na im go kill-am when e meet-am. 20 If e push the person because e hate-am or e use something stone-am with bad mind* and the person die, 21 or e hit-am with im hand because e hate-am and e die, make una no fail to kill the person wey hate-am. 22 “‘But if e happen when e no expect-am and no be because e hate-am wey make-am push-am or e use something stone-am but no be with bad mind,* 23 or if e no see-am and e make stone fall ontop-am and e no be im enemy before, or de find way to injure-am and the person come die, 24 then make the people judge between the person wey hit-am and the person wey get the right to pay back,* according to this laws. 25 Then make the people save the person wey kill another person from the hand of the person wey get the right to pay back,* and take-am go back to im city of protection where e be run go, and e must live for there until the high priest wey them anoint with the holy oil don die.

26 “‘But if the person wey kill another person comot from the boundary of im city of protection wey e run go, 27 and the person wey get the right to pay back* see the killer for outside the boundary of im city of protection and e kill-am, no blood dey ontop im head. 28 E must live for inside im city of protection until the high priest die. But after the high priest don die, the killer fit go back to im own land. 29 This things go be law wey una go de use judge for all una generations, for all the place them wey una go stay.

30 “‘Make una kill anybody wey kill person* because na killer e be, when people talk say them see wetin happen;* but make una no kill anybody* from wetin only one person talk. 31 Make una no ever collect payment for the life* of killer wey suppose die, because una no suppose fail to kill the person. 32 And make una no ever collect payment for person wey run go im city of protection, to allow-am go back go stay for im land before the high priest die.

33 “‘Make una no ever spoil the land wey una de live for inside, because blood de spoil the land, and them no go fit make the land dey clean from the blood wey them don pour for the land, unless them use the blood of the person wey pour-am. 34 Make you no ever dirty the land wey una de live for inside, the land wey I de live inside, because me, Jehovah, I de live among Israel people.’”
