2 Chronicles 4:1-22

The Second Book of Chronicles

4 Then e make the copper altar. The altar long reach 20 cubits, e wide reach 20 cubits, and e high reach 10 cubits.

2 E use copper wey them melt mold something wey them de call Sea.* E dey round, and from one side of im mouth to the other side na 10 cubits. E high reach 5 cubits, and na measuring rope wey long reach 30 cubits na im fit go round-am. 3 And for under the mouth of the Sea, fine-fine image of round-round fruit dey there, and them dey round the body. Na ten of that image dey for place wey long reach one cubit, and na so e dey round the Sea. The image of the round-round fruits dey for two lines wey them join together like say na one. 4 The Sea dey ontop 12 bulls. Three face north side, 3 face west side, 3 face south side, and 3 face east side. The Sea dey ontop of them and all their back face the center of the Sea. 5 E thick reach four fingers,* and them make im mouth like cup mouth, like lily flower wey just de come out. E fit contain 3,000 bath measures* of water.

6 Another thing be say, e make ten basins wey them de use wash and put five for the right side and five for the left side. Them go use the basins rinse the things wey them use for the offering wey them de burn. But the priests de wash for the Sea.

7 Then e use gold make ten lampstands as them say make e do, and e put them for the temple, five for the right side and five for the left side.

8 E still make ten tables and e put them for the temple, five for the right side, and five for the left side; and e use gold make 100 bowls.

9 Then e make the compound of the priests and the big compound* and the doors for the compound, and e use copper cover their doors. 10 And e put the Sea for the right side, for the side wey de face east.

11 Hi′ram still make the containers, the shovels and the bowls.

So Hi′ram finish the work wey e do for King Sol′o·mon for the house of the true God. E make: 12 the two pillars, and the capitals wey their shape be like bowl wey dey ontop the two pillars, the two nets wey cover the two capitals wey their shape be like bowl wey dey ontop the pillars, 13 the 400 pomegranates* wey dey the two nets, two lines of pomegranates for each of the net wey de cover the two capitals wey their shape be like bowls wey dey ontop the pillars; 14 the ten things wey be like truck,* and the ten basins wey dey ontop this things wey be like truck; 15 the Sea wey them mold, and the 12 bulls wey dey under-am; 16 the containers, the shovels, the forks, and all the other things. Hi′ram-a′biv use copper wey de shine make them for King Sol′o·mon, for the house of Jehovah. 17 The king mold this things inside thick clay for the area for Jordan wey dey between Suc′coth and Zer′e·dah. 18 Sol′o·mon make all this things and them plenty no be small; them no even know how the copper wey them use make them heavy reach.

19 Sol′o·mon make everything wey them go use for the house of the true God: the altar wey them use gold make, the tables, and the showbread wey dey ontop them; 20 the lampstands and their lamps wey them use pure gold make, wey go de burn for front of the room wey dey inside-inside according to wetin God don command; 21 the trees wey de produce flowers, the lamps, and the things wey them de use hold lamp thread, na gold e use make all of them, the best pure gold; 22 the things wey them de use quench fire, the bowls, the cups, and the things wey them de use carry charcoal fire, na pure gold e use make all of them; and the domot of the house, im doors wey dey inside-inside for the Most Holy Room, and the doors of the house of the temple, e use gold make all of them.
